Steve Ellis has Louisville positioned strongly with one of South's top cornerbacks

Jay Harper has a strong relationship with Louisville assistant and has a key official visit scheduled with the Cardinals this summer

Jeff Brohm made a point to praise defensive back coach Steve Ellis during spring practice, both for what the former East Carolina assistant brings to the field as an instructor and off the field as a recruiter. 

Ellis, who decided to team with Brohm and mentor Louisville’s cornerbacks, is the reason the Cardinals are among the top contenders for one of the most promising cornerbacks in the south.
