Louisville Visitor Report: LB Trent Carter, OL Jimmy Williams, DB Lakhi Roland
Maryland defensive back commit, 3-star Florida offensive lineman and linebacker rave about spring game visits with Louisville
Trent Carter, a promising 2024 linebacker from Jacksonville (FL) Bolles, couldn’t say enough great things about his visit up for Louisville’s Spring Game on Friday.
“It went great,” Carter told Cardinal Confidential. “I was very impressed by all the facilities and the stadium was so awesome. I can’t wait to come back and see it full of fans.
“I got to sit in a linebacker meeting with Coach (Mark) Ivey and some of the other recruits and I think the defense they run at Louisville really works well with my strength as a linebacker. I also got to hear Coach (Jeff) Brohm talk about some of his goals and vision for the program and everything he was saying was very impressive.
“Another aspect of the visit that I loved was how they prioritize my relationship with God and mental health with a good FCA and Christian community that I can trust. Overall I loved my unofficial visit. I was very impressed with everything and I can’t wait to get back.”
Carter, 6’3, 215, is planning two official visits.
“I’m in the process of getting an oficial to Coastal Carolina right now and I’m definitely going to be setting one up to Louisville soon. Other than that I’m going to wait and see what happens in the spring then make some more decisions on where to go.”
Jimmy Williams and Maryland commit Lakhi Roland comment on Louisville visits below.
