Louisville coach Jeff Brohm has proven track record taking speedy, undersized receivers and turning them into college football (and NFL) stars.
At Purdue, Brohm’s attack featured 5’7, 180 pound Rondale Moore, who caught 178 passes for nearly 2,000 receiving yards during his Boilermakers career, winning the Paul Horning Award before being selected in the second round of the NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals.
Moore’s speed and shiftiness, combined with Brohm’s astute play-calling abilities, made the diminutive receiver one of the most dangerous offensive talents in college football.
So when Brohm’s program recently offered a scholarship to Edward Louis, a speedy 5’8, 165 pound slot receiver from Fort Lauderdale (FL) Dillard, astute observers might wander if Louisville’s coach has found his next Rondale Moore.
