Jeff Brohm tempers expectations for TJ Capers

Louisville coach discussed the addition of former 5-star linebacker to the Cardinals '23 roster

Jeff Brohm tempered expectations about TJ Capers potential impact this season, but Louisville’s head coach made clear he’s excited about adding the reclassified star linebacker to the Cardinals roster a year early.

“We’re excited about TJ Capers,” Brohm said Thursday. "I think he can be an outstanding football player for us.” 

Besides making a jump in class, Brohm also said Capers is still rehabbing a knee injury that he sustained at the end of his junior season at Miami (FL) Columbus.
