Jeff Brohm motivated to win 'championship' at Louisville
Former Louisville standout quarterback wants to win big at his alma mater
Jeff Brohm’s first season as Louisville’s head football coach is rapidly approaching.
This week, Brohm and several Cardinals players attended the ACC Kickoff and are set to open fall camp next week. After leading Purdue to the Big 10 Championship game last year, Brohm told ACC talking heads that he’s excited and motivated to win big at his alma mater.
“The last thing you want to do when you come back to your alma mater is disappoint your fan base and do things that don’t make them happy,” Brohm said. "For me, that is what motivates and drives me to put in the work and time. There’s a lot of things that you’ve got to do to get your team ready to play.
"So I’m going to go above and beyond to do that. That doesn’t mean that it’s always going to work or we’re going to win every game. But it is important to me and means something special and I take it seriously. In the end I want to try to bring a championship to Louisville.”
