Jack Plummer gives Louisville offense 'coach' on the field
Cal transfer should have solid protection to lead a winner for the Cardinals in Jeff Brohm's debut
Jack Plummer brings plenty of Power 5 starting experience to Louisville.
The Cardinals transfer quarterback, who will lead the attack in Jeff Brohm’s debut against Georgia Tech, started several games at Purdue, plus 12 more last season at California.
The Golden Bears finished 4-8, but that record wasn’t indicative of Plummer’s play. Though Cal finished four games under, Plummer completed 62 percent of his passes, throwing for 3,095 yards and 21 touchdowns with only nine interceptions.
Most west coast observers blame California’s offensive line for the lack of success in 2022. Yet, Plummer still posted all-conference type numbers.
Imagine what he can do at Louisville behind an experienced offensive front that is expected to be a position of strength this season.
