The recent El Ellis — Skyy Clark summer hubbub reminded me of that famous quote from The Godfather.
Ellis says he left Louisville to transfer to Arkansas because Kenny Payne promised his job to Illinois transfer Skyy Clark. Clark says that’s not true …. Blah, blah, blah ….. you know the story.
While that back and forth certainly makes good off-season drama it’s totally irrelevant to the real story.
