App. State OL transfer Troy Everett 'excited' about visiting Louisville
Freshman All-American offensive lineman planning three official visits soon with ACC, SEC programs
It didn’t take long for Louisville to offer a scholarship to Troy Everett after the talented Appalachian State offensive lineman entered the transfer portal Saturday.
Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Maryland, Missouri and Illinois didn’t waste offering scholarships to Everett either.
A freshman All-American, Everett played 478 snaps and allowed just one sack in 262 pass-blocking snaps. And he still has three years remaining eligibility. Its not hard to figure why ACC, SEC and Big 10 programs are dialing his number.
"Troy is a really tough, aggressive and technically sound player,” said Everett’s former high school coach, Jamie Harless. "He’s still got a lot of ceiling left and I think that's attractive because he has 3 years of eligibility left"
