Louisville 'checked all the boxes' for 4-star WR James Madison II
Jeff Brohm's Cardinals appear to have made up ground in the top-flight South Florida standout receiver's recruitment

Louisville hosted a bunch of football recruits last weekend, none bigger than James Madison II.
No, we’re not talking about the former US President, but the four-star 2024 wide receiver from south Florida powerhouse Fort Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas.
Rated the No. 42 receiver nationally by On3, Madison announced his Top 10 schools earlier this year but didn’t include Louisville among a group consisting of Auburn, LSU, Florida State, Colorado, Missouri, Oregon, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Clearly, Jeff Brohm has made up some ground in Madison’s high-octane recruitment since early January, when the original favorites list was released on Madison’s Twitter account @JamesJTMadison2
“For sure, I loved that place (Louisville),” Madison told Cardinal Confidential Monday while on the west coast visiting Oregon.
